Soft pops and crackles filled the cold air in the dark, rocky room. Orange and yellow danced in the middle of the room in the form of flames, illuminating everything about it; giving warmth and life. On occasion a cough would interupt the popping and cracking, with a strange, feminin humming sound would follow shortly after. From the darkness, a form crept to the edge of the light and remained there. Watching another form that laid a few feet away from the warm, dancing flames of the fire. This person was covered in a fur blanket, his face covered halfway with a wet warm cloth that was most likely replaced every few hours. The form that stood on the edge of the light took a few steps further, revealing herself. She was a Mithra. Clothed in thick, white fur outfit. Her hair was cut short at the shoulders and slicked back; the hue a dark chocolate brown. She looked decently aged, like she was in her early to middle thirties.

She licked her lips slowly, with a grin following afterwards. With slow steps, she walked over to the man laying by the fire and knelt down beside him, removing the cloth from his face. She pursed her lips together, and spoke softly. "Is this the day, that you will awaken from your slumber?" At that moment, the mans eyes slowly opened up. The dark orbs looking about before they set their gaze to the Mithra. She tilted her head to one side slightly and smiled warmly at the man. "Take your time, we still have a few days time before we must set out somewhere else." She said to him, only this time slightly louder.

A weak, hoase groan escaped the mans lips. Mostly coming out as a sigh than a groan, and his eyes closed again. A minute passed, and he was asleep again. The Mithra replaced the cloth over his face again, and stood up to her feet; stretching before she walked off into the darkness. Then, soft thuds accompanied by soft tapping noises approached the light, and a tiger slowly walked over to the man. It sniffed him for a minute, before snorting and laying down next to him; keeping a eye on the man as if it was guarding him.

It is cold. Just like it always is here, and I wish I could be somewhere else. Ifrit's Cauldron would be a better place than this frozen hell. However, I can't be too sour about it. If it wasn't for this Mithra who took care of me the past few years, I'd be a meal for some animal in the wild. Apparently, I've been in a coma for about a year. And because of that, I lost most of my strength. It wasn't fun. But now, a little over three years has passed, and I regained most of my strength. Hopefully soon this Mithra will lead me to some city or town so that I can possibly start my life again. And maybe...just maybe...find Koumai. And if I recall correctly, we depart tomorrow at dawn.

I shouldn't worry too much about it. The day will come soon enough. One thing I am wondering about though is the people I've been seeing in my dreams lately. The two I've seen the most was a hume man, and a Mithra. According to my dreams, the two are together, and I knew them a bit. In one, the Mithra handed me a piece of bubble chocolate to cheer me up, because I was feeling down about something. In another, I was in some teahouse with the man. He was telling me about taking revenge on someone who had wronged me, and keeping my control. And then later, me and him were sparring with each other. Although I got my ass handed to me, we both had fun. And I guess that was all that mattered. I don't know the names of these two people, but I know their faces well enough. Perhaps I'll run into them when I return to civilization.
